The second wine of Château Cantenac Brown is textured and opulent with rich aromas of red fruits complemented by notes of dark chocolate. Full and round, with the red fruit aromas echoed on the palate, the tannins are seamlessly integrated through to a powerful finish.
BriO de Cantenac Brown was born in 2001.
Through the style of its label, but also through the quality of our work from the selection of the lots to the bottling, it aims at expressing the modernity of our Château.

“The 2015 vintage of this red wine is characterized by a dense body. It is characterized by spicy aromas such as dark chocolate, mocha and fine woods. BriO should – according to the claim of the makers – be a wine full of finesse that has the right harmony between intensity and elegance. In 2015 this was achieved in an incredibly good form. The cuvée made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc has a full-bodied texture and shows a soft palate with a long finish. BriO should deliberately be an accessible wine that also impresses with its high quality. The people in charge of the Château put it this way: “We want BriO to be a wine you drink before, during and after a meal; just for your pleasure. ”

“Dark cherry, plum, mocha, espresso, licorice and spice are all amped up in the BriO, Cantenac Brown’s second wine. Expressive floral and spice notes add attractive lift throughout. The 2015 BriO de Cantenac Brown shows just how rich the second wines of Margaux are in this vintage.
