“Only few properties in the prestigious appellation of Pomerol can claim to have their vineyard planted in the region’s famous veins of clay soil, and Clos du Clocher is one of these rare exceptions.

Powerful, dense and intense, the Clos du Clocher 2017 reveals itself to be very voluptuous. The bouquet exudes intense notes of wild strawberries and blackberries, evolving delicate floral notes, reminiscent of iris and violet, the signature of Pomerol. With its elegance and vivacity, the palate reveals a deep and dense texture, offering chewy tannins with a tight and balanced grain. Beautiful persistent, the finish ends with fresh graphite notes. A massive, fleshy and deep Pomerol with the most promising potential for age.”
