  “50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc; Purple rim, black core. Lots of oak sweetness on the nose, though there’s ripe black fruit underneath. Blueberries and vanilla. That same sweetness on the palate but it is balanced by a freshness that many wines seem to lack. Super-smooth tannins, very flattering, even with, or because of, the oak sweetness.” (JH) (3/2019)
