50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 15% Malbec
For three generations, we have drawn inspiration from Bordeaux’s illustrious traditions to transform the juice of our grapes into a truly noble wine : Château Les Rambauds. The beautiful ruby color and bouquet of red fruit and dark berry aromas enchant the senses, while on the plate it is sumptuously fleshy and full-bodied.
A bright cherry red in the glass. Rich and complex bouquet with aromas of red and black berries, liquorice and cedarwood, subtle notes of vanilla and toast. Well structured, full-bodied, meaty on the palate; soft and balanced in the finish. Serve this with spicy ceviche, linguine with shrimp and garlic, or fritto misto plate with an aioli mayo.
The Château Rambauds is a family owned property, Cazade family for three generations, located in the southeast of the Bordeaux appellation on the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne.
Bernard Cazade has been passionate since childhood as a winegrower and is very attached to this magnificent terroir. He developed the vineyard inherited from his father but also followed his convictions: that it was possible to obtain an excellent Malbec on this terroir while avoiding the defects of power and rusticity that are generally criticized.
Anxious to preserve this terroir and pass it on to future generations, it has been committed for a very long time to minimize the impact on the environment and manages the vineyard of Château Les Rambauds according to the very strict principles of sustainable agriculture. It has also obtained the “reasoned culture” approval.
