Frank Mähler-Besse, who comes from a Dutch family, has become an institution in the trading center of Bordeaux. Not only is he a co-owner of Chateau Palmer, he also vinifies Bordeaux wines with the same passion, such as Cheval Noir, St. Emilion AC and Cheval Noir from the Bordeaux appellation, which has also been successfully sold by the trading house for many years. The Bordeaux wine 2019 was vinified with the following grape varieties: Merlot: 100%, the Merlot lovers appreciate this balanced Bordeaux wine, the 2019 vintage offers an excellent price-performance ratio, the connoisseur can expect a multifaceted play of aromas, cherry, vanilla and mocha notes are the dominant taste experiences of this red wine, fine roasted aromas and cedar spice round off the taste, which lingers on the palate.
Cheval Noir combines roundness with rich and fruity aromas. The wine has a fine, complex nose which combines ripe, red fruits with notes of grilled toast and spices. In the mouth it is rich, structured, and powerful, perfectly balanced between fruit and tannins with a long finish.
