Jacques Boyd is the second wine of Château Boyd Cantenac, 3rd Grand Cru Classé in Margaux. It has a deep and shiny purple color.. The bouquet is open, of great finesse, associating the roasted and smoked register with morello cherry and cocoa. From the start, an elegant class stands out: the toasted and toasted notes add finesse to ripe and spicy red fruit, resulting in a wine that is both round and powerful. Long and delicious finish on a note of toasted hazelnut.
Mondovino’s favorite: Super Second Wine which respects the elegance of its predecessor. A silky wine which marks the perfect harmony between substance and elegance. The vintages follow one another and the framework remains the same. The delicacy of the tannins and the gourmandise of this second wine are remarkable.
Notes: Second label of Chateau Boyd-Cantenac
“Some attractive oak marries well with currant and spice aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied. Firm and finely silky tannins. Creamy texture… shows finesse and precision. Second wine of Boyd-Cantenac.”
